He graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of Glamorgan, where he was awarded the prestigious Award for Clinical Excellence, given to the top clinician of the graduating year.
Sam is passionate about helping patients not only overcome pain but truly understand the root cause of their symptoms. He uses the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) to assess movement patterns and identify underlying dysfunctions—ensuring treatment is targeted, effective, and tailored to each individual’s needs.
As a FICS-accredited Sports Chiropractor, Sam is highly experienced in working with both amateur and professional athletes across a variety of sports. He is also a certified TPI M2 Golf Specialist Chiropractor, which allows him to assess and treat golfing injuries, as well as help golfers improve their performance and movement efficiency on the course.
While Sam treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, he finds working with patients suffering from back pain particularly rewarding. Joe graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, near Bournemouth, with a 1st Class ‘Master of Chiropractic’ degree. Having been taken to see a chiropractor when he was 11 years old for ankle-related issues, he saw first hand how effective the treatment he received had been, and subsequently decided to work towards the goal of one day becoming a chiropractor himself.
Several years later, Joe now has experience treating a wide range of different conditions throughout the body, and particularly enjoys helping patients with neck and back related pain. Joe strives to empower patients to take ownership over their care and rehabilitation, instilling a sense of partnership in his patients’ recovery. He employs a variety of different techniques based upon his patients’ preferences in order to assist them in achieving their goals. He has a strong focus on soft-tissue techniques and exercise rehabilitation, along with spinal manipulation where appropriate.
Joe is constantly expanding and developing his knowledge through regular training courses and seminars, as well as keeping up to date with the latest relevant research, in order to provide his patients with the most effective treatment techniques.
Joe is a keen sportsman, having played both football and rugby for several years growing up. He now enjoys competing in powerlifting, where he has had to overcome his own injuries and setbacks with the help of chiropractic care. As such, he also finds enjoyment in using his knowledge to help other athletes overcome injuries and return to their sport.
