Scar Massage & Scar Therapy

Specialist scar therapy in Haywards Heath for caesarean, abdominoplasty, hysterectomy, breast surgery and orthopaedic scars. Hands-on techniques using the RESTORE method to soften adhesions, restore mobility and reduce pain – integrated with rehabilitation to help the scar feel and move like the rest of your body.

LymphaTouch Pro

Advanced non-invasive scar and lymphatic therapy combining gentle negative pressure with mechanical vibration. The Health Hub is one of very few clinics in Sussex offering LymphaTouch Pro, particularly effective for C-section, mastectomy, DIEP and abdominal surgery scarring, plus oncology-related lymphoedema.

Pelvic Floor, Pregnancy & Postnatal Physiotherapy

Specialist hands-on physiotherapy for pelvic floor dysfunction, urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti, pelvic girdle pain (PGP) and postnatal back, hip or coccyx pain. Internal and external assessment with a tailored rehabilitation plan to restore strength, control and confidence. Available during pregnancy, in the postnatal period, or for women managing long-term symptoms.

WHY YOU SHOULDN'T IGNORE SYMPTOMS

Many women are told that symptoms like leakage, heaviness, tummy doming or persistent pain are simply “part of being a mum.” They’re not.

These symptoms are common, yes, but they’re not something you have to live with. Left untreated, they can lead to ongoing discomfort, reduced confidence, difficulty returning to exercise, and longer-term pelvic health issues. With the right assessment and rehabilitation plan, the vast majority of postnatal symptoms can be significantly improved – often resolved entirely.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re considering women’s health physiotherapy in Haywards Heath, here are some of the most common questions we’re asked.

Do I need a GP referral?

No, you can book directly with our Women’s Health team. If you’re using private medical insurance, your insurer may require authorisation before treatment.

How soon after birth can I be seen?

From 6 weeks postnatal once you’ve had your GP check. We also offer antenatal physiotherapy during pregnancy.

Is it too late to fix postnatal issues if my baby is older?

No, it’s never too late. We regularly treat women whose children are now toddlers, teenagers or adults. The body responds at any stage.

Will I have an internal pelvic floor examination?

Internal assessment is offered where it would be clinically valuable, but it’s never compulsory. External assessment is equally valid and you decide what you’re comfortable with at every stage.

Can I bring my baby?

Yes. We have space for a pram and somewhere comfortable to feed if needed.

Which service should I start with?

For most postnatal women, the Mummy MOT® is the ideal starting point. For C-section recovery specifically, see our C-Section Recovery page. For pregnancy-related pain or non-postnatal pelvic health concerns, book a Women’s Health Physiotherapy assessment.

Testimonials

Read what our patients have to say.

I cannot recommend the Health Hub highly enough. I visited just over a year ago after my doctor couldn’t help with a postnatal problem and ended up worsening my symptoms. I was in despair. Jodie came to my rescue. She was so knowledgeable about my situation and knew exactly what to do to help me recover. I dont know what I would have done without her. A big thank you to her and her amazing team.

Kylie Lockwood

Jodie and Tanya are great. I am on my antenatal journey currently and I have had the antenatal physio check up with Jodie, and a pregnancy massage with Tanya.

I am surprised that this is not mentioned during midwife appointments and it is a brilliant extra check for yourself. I look forward to the postnatal check up.

Anna

Jodie has been exceptional at helping me with all different aspects of my postnatal recovery. She is so knowledgeable, able to share information and practical help using cutting edge technology and research I would thoroughly recommend a check up with her, for anyone who’s going through pregnancy or birth, regardless of whether you feel you are currently experiencing acute symptoms.
