Physiotherapy in Haywards Heath at The Health Hub

Looking for physiotherapy in Haywards Heath to help with pain, stiffness or injury? At The Health Hub, our experienced physiotherapists specialise in helping people move better, feel stronger and get back to doing what they enjoy.

Whether it’s ongoing back pain, a knee that’s no longer reliable, or a shoulder that’s stopping you sleeping, we provide a clear diagnosis, hands-on treatment and a structured plan to help you recover properly, not just temporarily.

Does this sound familiar?

  • “It’s not bad enough for a scan, but it’s not going away”
  • “I’m just putting up with it, but it’s getting worse”
  • “I’ve tried rest, but it keeps coming back”
  • “I don’t want to rely on painkillers”
  • “I just want to feel normal again”

If so, you’re not alone and more importantly, it’s something we can help with.

Common reasons people see our physiotherapists in Haywards Heath:

  • Ongoing back pain or stiffness
  • Knee pain when walking, running or using stairs
  • Shoulder pain (especially at night or when reaching)
  • Neck pain and headaches
  • Hip pain or reduced mobility
  • Arthritis and age-related joint changes
  • Recovering from surgery (hip, knee or shoulder)
  • Injuries that haven’t improved with rest

If you’re unsure whether physiotherapy is right for you, we’ll guide you honestly and recommend the best approach.

A clear plan from day one

We focus on identifying the root cause of your problem, not just treating symptoms, so you know exactly:

  • what’s going on
  • what needs to be done
  • how long it’s likely to take

Treatment that actually works

Your physiotherapy may include:

  • Hands-on manual therapy
  • Targeted exercise rehabilitation
  • Movement retraining
  • Medical acupuncture (where appropriate)
  • Advice to prevent recurrence

Everything is tailored to you, your body, your lifestyle and your goals.

A joined-up approach to your care

At The Health Hub, our physiotherapists work alongside chiropractors, osteopaths and sports massage therapists.

That means:

  • You’re not stuck in the wrong treatment pathway
  • We can adapt your care as you progress
  • You get the most effective approach from the outset

Our aim isn’t just to get you out of pain; it’s to help you move with confidence again.

Whether that means:

  • walking comfortably
  • getting back to the gym
  • playing golf
  • or simply sleeping without pain

We build a plan that gets you there.

I went to Health Hub – Kirk – back in March
Due to breaking my ankle in 2018 my right leg had become very weak
Working with Kirk over last 5 months, a weakness built up over 3 years is almost back to normal strength
So happy – been hard work – but worth it

Sarah Alsop

I would not hesitate to recommend The Health Hub. From booking my first appointment to finishing my treatment, the team have been nothing but fantastic. Their professional, happy and friendly manner put me at ease instantly. Alongside my appointments, I was provided with an easy to use and effective set of exercises to do at home, with the aim of being pain free as quickly as possible. Martin has been supportive throughout the whole process and has always been at the ready with words of advice and encouragement. Thank you so much.

Jo Ward

I visited Kirk after a foot injury had caused pain and mobility problems for several months. He listened to my concerns, took a detailed history and began treatment straight away. The appointments were never rushed, he always explained every step and made sure that I was comfortable.
I am very pleased to say that I am now back doing my usual exercise classes and enjoying my daily walks, something I thought might never happen again.
Thank you Kirk, you have given me my life back!
I would also like to mention how helpful and welcoming the reception staff are. There is always a smile (behind a mask of course!) and friendly hello.
I can thoroughly recommend a visit!

Jade Heron

Having hobbled in to the Health Hub with a knee problem , the lovely Kirk the physio gave me acupuncture, which has reduced my pain, and I’m now walking further. I’m still having ongoing treatment and exercises. Fully recommend.

Jacqueline Smith

Martin was absolutely brilliant, really personable & kind and put our 12 year old son completely at ease. He gave clear advice & immediately followed it all up in a summary email. We now feel confident with road ahead. Thank you so much.

Emma Driver

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Kirk for all his help throughout my rehab over the past few weeks. Struggling with a complicated groin strain, the soft tissue work combined with acupuncture and variety of exercises has got me feeling great again. One of the biggest compliments I can pay to Kirk was his ability to pick me up when I was feeling down and get me to see the positives and that I was making improvements. Would recommend to all. Thanks
